spinach and radio button voting

so i am a big spinach fan and have been disheartened by the recent events. my daily intake has diminished as no one wants to carry the phytonutrient powerhouse. i agree there should be some concern about the handling of raw foods in this age of factory farming. but man i have been missing my leafy green.

then the other day i was passing through the grocery and a bag of coloradoan-grown spinach curiously glared at me from the shelf. in such a drought of the popeye favorite that it looked very foreign in the display. much like an underground supply of contraband. with little to no hesitation, i snagged a bag and brought it home. last night i dove in, with reluctance and hesitation i might add, but i absorbed the pleasure of the mr and mrs spinach. my question is this, is it stupid to cast aside recent happenings and fall into the notion of statistical probability will clear the bill of health for this bag of spinach, as it has done with every other bag we have ever bought?

is it a good idea to eat spinach?
sure

hell no

(still working out the kinks on this radio button voting, sorry)
