of course those are the words of dr. leonard mccoy referring to his fine vulcan cohort. this green blood, however, is none other than the joyous wheatgrass juice, packed with a number of amino acids and an invigorating tongue-tingling taste.
i have lugged this czechoslovakian-cast steel manual juicer back and forth across the country to enjoy the glory that be within the comforts of the home. it is one of those things that takes a week or a bit more of preparation (in this case, sprouting time) and then is consumed within a few minutes. incidentally, that kimchi that i put together a couple of weeks ago was gone in 6 days post it's week of active fermentation.
there is nothing else quite like it in the world. amy and i both had our fixes this a.m. and can't wait for the next batch to mature.
