scholarship dough
the mailcarrier has brought a pleasant surprise amongst the bills and junk mail. i am the happy recipient of a state of maryland delegate scholarship and will now be responsible for only a humble middling portion of the tuition to graduate school. thank you, dear delegates. my thesis should be complete by the end of the year and i anticipate graduating in may of oh-seven.

congrats! it is amazing how much money is out there for school when you look for it (and if you are poor). and to sami- my brothers used to call me stimpy in high school because they said i had a big red nose and a big butt. i like that nickname even though stimpson j. cat was a little on the slow side!
congratulations, spenser - this is rad news! (having just written a very painful tuition check, i know how helpful scholarship money can be.)
