wisdom removed

at 34 years of age, i've gone through what i should have endured over a decade ago--having my wisdom teeth extracted. the nitrous oxide deluge withdrew my concerns for the gnarly prying that the dentist was engaged in. i chose pink floyd as my music of choice for the endeavor. recovery was quick, as i didn't require the hard pharmaceuticals past day 1 and relied on ibuprophen for the week following. kids, remove your teeth in your teens. no sense in waiting til later on.

I had mine out when I was 19. It was miserable, and it took me 7 days to recover. I'm pretty sure that damn dentist dislocated my jaw to pry my mouth open wide enough to get at those teeth. To this day, I don't really enjoy pudding.
