Clearly, it is fantastic! ...within reason. Some are to-scale land mass replications, but many are great, colorful, cultural alternatives to the dreaded neck-tie. An absolute must-have, along with the taco-shaped straw hat.
i bought my dad a pink bolo tie for jesus' birthday once. it was a pig. it was totally pink. i was about nine when i bought it for him. he wore it once. but i think really what he did was wear it out of the house, take it off in the car on the way to work, and then put on either another bolo tie or just a regular tie. then he put it back on before he came home from work. because there was no way in hell my dad was going to actually wear that bolo tie. but i didn't know that when i was eight.
